Appios
Appios is the extra virgin olive oil produced from olives of the Coratina variety, grown in Apulia on the hills of the northern Murgia. The oil is extracted by centrifugation and cold extraction with natural decantation. With a medium fruity aroma, our oil stands out for its intense and persistent taste. It’s perfect with raw on soups, legumes, roasts, bruschettas, pizzas, focaccias, on salads, and boiled, grilled, or salted fish.
A MANO LIBERA
“A mano libera” is a new sustainable-ethical project supported by Cantine Torrevento.
The protagonists of this initiative are young and former prisoners who, moved by a great desire for social redemption, are concretely committed to the artisanal production of taralli, a symbol of hope and change.
With the sale of taralli, Cantine Torrevento wants to offer and guarantee work and dignity to those who are part of the “Senza Sbarre” project: an opportunity for re-socialization and a source of support for those whose lives have been marked by a prison journey.
